P.S. Also London Fletcher vermisse ich wirklich

You gotta be kidding. That stuff's real? lol, whoever wrote those ratings has obviously no idea.

What about O. Pace on OLB?

What about the offensive stuff? The Rams are an offensive based team with an offesive Coach.

If I had to do some rankings, I'd say

WR:
1. Torry Holt
5. Isaac Bruce

QB:
~10. Marc Bulger (defenitly good, and should be somewhere around the edge of the top 10, but there are still better ones like T. Green, B. Favre or R. Gannon)

HB:
It's hard to say where Faulk is today. He's had a hard time with his injury and it's hard to tell if he'll be as good as he was before. However, if Marshall can be back at full force, I'd defenitly rank him among the top 5 HB in the league.

Steven Jackson has shown some nice runs this preseason too. I think he's our future, the football gods were smiling on the Rams when we drafted him right under the nose of the Seahawks in this year's draft, muahaha.

With Marshall and Steven together, we should have a top 10 backfield alltogether.

Bottom line:

When judging the Rams, you have to look more at the offense than at the defense, since the Rams are a very offensive Team nowadays. Our offense looks promising this year, and if Orlando Pace stops being a bitch and finally signs a new contract, we should be fine. And even if he doesn't, we still have Turley on reserve right now ( yup, that's right, he's on second string right now).

Yes the rams are a mostly offensive team, but that´s their problem! The last few years, when the rams offense kept sputtering at times, the defense wasn´t able to help them out... A team hast to be balanced. like the rams of 1999 and 2001. In 2000 the D# was terrible, and down the drain went the season although we had alle the stars of the previous year...

I am not too optmistic this year, the OL is a shamble, (by the way Turley ist definitely out this yeas (IR) and Big O is gonna be out of shape). Whithout a solid OL the major weapons of the rams can´t produce. On the other side, the DL is gonna be hobbled by the loss of Wistrom and perhaps Little and will not produce much of anything.

I foresee an 8-8 to 10-6 season at best...

by the was: Any news from STL about the future of #91?

Voices around Little have been silent lately. I heard that he was in training camp a few times tho, which is defenitly a good sign.

I wouldn't say that our team is worse than it was last year.

Marc's doing fine without Warner, and he has some good pals behind him in case he gets injured (Chandler, Smoker)

Steven can run like a son of a bitch if he has to, lol. He's really kicked some ass in those games. The fans here in STL LOVE Jackson, they adore him. He's doing a good job and he's having fun. I remember in the game against Washington, third quarter, the drive right after Jackson's touchdown where he made a 17 yard run, the crowd went wild lol. We were all just shouting Steve! Steve! Steve!

Shawn McDonald and Cam. Cleeland have really impressed me this pre-season. They'll be doing gooood.

How our defense will turn out, I don't know. Too many variables. Is Little gonna be back? Is Turley gonna be ok? What about Fisher? Who knows.

a 8-8 or 10-6 is defenitly not gonna be the case my friend.

Well, let´s hope you´re right... I wouldn´t mind either...

It´s nice to hear that you can attend the rams-games live... This is something really valuable for us in Germany... Until now, I´ve been only once in St. Louis, but I hope to manage another tripp soon. If everything goes the right way, I´ll find a way to make trip there next season... (I just have to use this strong EURO-Dollar rates... )
